Josh showed up to our session in downtown Raleigh ready to take some senior portraits in front of a place that his mom said was special to him, Raleigh Memorial Auditorium. He had been in a production of Pippin there last summer , so it was only appropriate for him to have some pictures made there. The weather was perfect that day, and the lighting and buildings created a nice backdrop for Josh to shine. Josh is an actor, so he had no problem creating many different “looks” for the camera, from silly to serious and everything in between. Since Raleigh is known as the City of Oaks, there is a large copper acorn as a landmark near Raleigh Memorial Auditorium. We took some pictures in front of this iconic Raleigh landmark, and then we turned to find some nice spots in front of Fayetteville St. Mall. Josh did not flinch as a group of motorcycles turned loudly onto South street during our photo session. He was so humble when I showed him the back of the camera. “You look great,” I said, “like a movie star!” I can’t wait to see what fantastic things Josh will do in his future, and I am so happy that we captured some images of him in his hometown. Best wishes to Josh!
